Office Madness - Cubicles

In these trying times, one thing continues to unite American workers. Everyone hates cubicles. But what, specifically, about working in a box drives you most crazy? No privacy is a heavy favorite, but given some of the other choices, like trimming nails and loud personal calls and ring tones, perhaps the biggest annoyance isn’t so much a lack of privacy, but rather that other people act like their cubes have four walls, a door, and a ceiling (and soundproofing).

It’s not just your neighbors that are the problem, sometimes technology (or lack thereof) puts a damper on your cubicle life. Whether it’s slow internet speeds hampering your productivity or air conditioning overload chilling your very soul, your desk could be what’s getting you down. Vote now for your “favorite” cube-related annoyance and help us pick what advances to next week’s semi-finals.

What about having loud work discussions in cubicles that go on for hours that should have been in a meeting room?
