Office Madness – Meetings Division

Office Madness - Meetings

Today’s bracket of Office Madness focuses on another rarely appreciated aspect of working life: meetings. We’ve given you 10 tips for better meetings, but sadly, even those tips don’t always save you from some all-too-common meetings issues.

While the generic “too many meetings” is the heavy favorite in this category, here at TDS, we’re especially concerned with those garbled conference calls and other technology problems like poor connectivity. Let’s face it – we have to have meetings, so we might as well make the ones we have better, right?

Many of the other biggest meetings annoyances have to do more with the participants themselves, whether they’re late, stealing your conference rooms, or just playing on their phones (editorial comment – that is the worst). Now’s the time to air your grievances! Vote in the poll below to pick the worst meetings-related office annoyance. The “winner” will advance to next week’s semifinals.
