More and more people are working from home, with a recent study from Global Workplace Analytics showing that telecommuting has grown 80 percent nationwide over the past decade.

Do you work from home or are you thinking about taking on a telecommuting job? Or perhaps you own a business and are considering the pros and cons of allowing your staff to work from home?

If so, you don’t want to miss TDS’s upcoming Twitter chat which will dive into the hot topic of telecommuting! The chat will invite users to answer and ask an array of questions about this growing trend.

Discussion topics will include the advantages and disadvantages of home working, productivity tips, why you decided to become a telecommuter, the future of telecommuting and must-have technology for remote job success – plus, much more!

I’ll be helping to co-host the chat (Twitter handle @stephkayreed), along with another TDS blogger, the Leadership Coach, Mike McDonald (@mikemacdirect). We’re excited to meet you all and hear your thoughts about telecommuting!

This TDS Twitter chat will take place on August 27th at 10 am CST. Be sure to follow TDS on Twitter and use the hashtag #TelecommutingChat.
