New cyber security resources for small businesses

The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) just launched a new resource page for cybersecurity and small businesses. Small businesses are often the most vulnerable, because the scale and level of planning that hackers use for attacks is hard to defend against.

This new resource page has everything from downloadable materials to quizzes for IT managers and business owners.

It’s well categorized, and a handful of the topics include:

According to the FTC blog, they met with small business owners all over the country in the past year and concluded this was a worthwhile endeavor. “We took note, and developed clear and easy-to-use resources that businesses like yours can use to learn about cybersecurity and help train your employees,” they said.

All of the resources are free. The FTC even encourages you to link to them from your business’ website.
