From Phone to Fiber: CTO Insights

This month, Enterprise Networking Magazine featured TDS Telecom CTO, Ken Paker as a thought leader, as Enterprise Networking Magazine also tapped into his expertise, publishing his article, “From Phone to Fiber: How Technology Dictates Growth.”

In the article, Ken discussed how to manage through changes in technology and growth as a company.

“We spent a lot of time on the economics of fiber builds. That’s one of the best practices that I would tell anyone with my job in any industry: you cannot let the technology get too far from the economics. It’s easy for technologists to go down a path because it’s interesting or appears to be the next big thing, but the economics determines the success of what you end up doing. You need to constantly bring the new technology into the economic model of where the company’s got to go,” said Ken.

The magazine specializes in publishing articles from C-level executives at industry-leading companies, and it’s considered an honor to be asked to contribute. To read Ken’s full article, click here.
